Tamimon began in 2010 as a blog called Investigación Aspie (Aspie research).
It started from a deeply personal place: an autistic person sharing information, reflections, and lived experience with the aim of supporting others and families who were going through similar journeys.
Over time, the project changed as well. Diagnostic terminology evolved, the understanding of autism expanded, and so did the perspective behind the space. For that reason, Investigación Aspie moved away from a name linked to older terminology and became Tamimon — a broader, more current identity that better reflects its purpose today.
What began as a peer-support space gradually grew alongside the professional development of its creator. Lived experience became complemented by academic training, educational practice, work with autistic people and families, and an increasingly specialized focus on neurodiversity, autonomy, education, and respectful support.
Today, Tamimon brings both dimensions together:
The personal experience of having walked this path and the professional experience of supporting others.
After 16 years online, Tamimon is entering a new stage focused on creating educational resources, support materials, guides, content, and practical tools for families, professionals, and neurodivergent people.
Its purpose is simple: to turn complex information into resources that are clear, practical, respectful, and useful in real life.
Tamimon does not aim to provide one-size-fits-all answers. Instead, it seeks to offer tools that help people understand, make informed decisions, support autonomy, and accompany others with respect.
Sixteen years later, the essence remains the same: support.
What has changed is the experience, the tools, and the professional perspective behind it.
